World Medicine Charitable Trust

Acupuncture in Action

Who We Are

World Medicine - Acupuncture in Action - is a registered UK charity providing acupuncture to people suffering the effects of trauma, disaster or poverty.

We offer humanitarian aid  where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender in order to strengthen and support local communities.

The journey began in2005 when a team of 21 complementary therapists went out to help victims of the Asian Tsunami.

Today, we are more active than ever in offering practitioner experience, overseas and UK based programmes, recruiting volunteers, and raising funds for current and future projects. We also fundraise to support UK based acupuncturists to run their own projects through our grant scheme.

Thank you for your interest in the work of World Medicine, thank you for visiting and thank you for your support.
